​Performer Compensation 

• Every performer is entitled to a small tip of appreciation after their performance. Rates are based off the amount of donations received per event. Tip amounts vary for each event. 

• Tip Payment is given by e-transfer to your indicated email in your application form. 

• You may choose to donate your tip to UTB, as we are funded by donations to keep going. While your tip is not required to be donated, we appreciate you and your dedication to the cause. Many thanks! :))

• ​

What’s Included 

•  At least one social media promotion on Instagram @underthebridge_dance with your logo and genre information. 

• ​UTB always provides a main stage area, this includes: A Pioneer SX2 Controller with Serato DJ (you must bring your own laptop with Serato, if using the SX2), Main Speakers, a monitor speaker, XLR cords, RCA cords and a microphone. If you require any other form of connections/cords, equipment, you are responsible for bringing them! DJ's are welcome to play on their own controllers. 

• UTB will provide a public storage table for performers to use. The table is near the main stage/DJ booth.

• A wagon is on-site if you need to haul gear from your vehicle to the bridge. Feel free to fetch it UTB prior to hauling your gear:))

• An instagram group chat of all performers is created at least two weeks prior to each assigned event so we can all mingle and chat about logistics. Feel free to share some interesting insights in the group chat :))

Rules & Expectations

• Performers MUST email their logo with TRANSPARENT ONLY BACKGROUND to info@djjess.ca no later than ONE MONTH prior to their event. Transparent means no background colour fill whatsoever. This will help make posters look amazing! 

• Performers must arrive at least 30 minutes prior to their set time and be prepared and ready to go for their set on time.

• Please be considerate of the equipment on/near the DJ table. NO DRINKS on the DJ table. 

• Clean-up all gear and items. No garbage left behind. 

• DO NOT perform intoxicated or beyond your range of control. We do not mind if you are having a good time, however, the image of a family friendly dance party is what we encourage. Do not act out of control or be disrespectful to attendees, volunteers, vendors, performers, and organizers. 

• If you display any inappropriate behaviours UTB or leading up the event, such as; discrimination, racism, sexism, extreme intoxication, or are stealing and/or damaging property, etc.. Your set will be stopped and/or cancelled and you will be asked to not participate going forward. Regardless of your offence, you will not receive a tip for your contributions.  

• All matters are to be brought the attention of the organizers, who will decide and advise the offender the appropriate course of action.

Liability Disclaimer

• All performers are responsible for their own items and gear. You may use the public storage table for performers near the main stage to store gear, however, it is not always supervised by our staff. Use the table at your own risk. Feel free to store your gear back in your car after your set. 

• Under The Bridge is not liable for theft, damage, or loss​​.
